The Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today the Church celebrates the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

Immaculate Mary, meek and humble of heart.
Conform our hearts to the heart of Jesus.

O most merciful God, who for the salvation of sinners and the refuge of the wretched, has made the Immaculate Heart of Mary most like in tenderness and pity to the Heart of Jesus.

Grant that we, who now commemorate her most sweet and loving heart, may by her merits and intercession, ever live in the fellowship of the hearts of both Mother and Son, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
—Excerpt from the "Litany of the Immaculate Heart of Mary" by St. John Henry Newman

Today we celebrate the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

From her fiat at the Annunciation to her steadfast presence at the foot of the Cross, Mary’s heart remained entirely united to the will of God. It is a heart marked by humility, fidelity, and perfect love.

May we learn from her example and allow our hearts to be formed more fully in the likeness of Christ.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, teach us to love as you love, with a heart free of selfishness and filled with mercy and compassion. May our daily “yes” to God’s will be as steadfast as yours. Mold our heart to reflect the mercy, love, compassion, and tenderness of Christ. Amen.

My vocation is Blessed and Saints.

"I am the most humble of all the Saints in Heaven" Mary, Mother of God."

"I am the handmaid of the Lord, said Mary ‘let what you have said be done to me."

Mother Mary is the most humble Saint in Heaven and she is also the Mother of God for us all
(Luke 1:38)
