This short night prayer honors Mary as the Virgin Most Prudent, asking for her intercession to protect your soul, guide your thoughts, and grant you a peaceful rest.
O Mary, Virgin Most Prudent, mirror of heavenly wisdom, I place myself under your maternal care this night. You’re the virgin that found favor in the Lord’s sight, make me and my household to find favor in his sight, As you guarded and pondered the mysteries of God in your heart, guard my soul and mind while I sleep. Amen.
