Think about it this way. God chose Mary to bring Jesus into the world. Jesus spent thirty years under her care, and from the Cross He gave her to us as our spiritual mother. The saints understood that when we draw close to Mary, she always brings us closer to her Son.
Many people struggle to approach Jesus because they feel unworthy, ashamed, or distant from God. Mary meets us like a mother. She encourages us, prays for us, and gently leads us back to Him. She does not keep anything for herself. Everything she has points to Jesus.
That is why so many saints loved the Rosary and trusted Mary completely. The closer they came to her, the more they loved Christ, the Eucharist, and the Church.
Do you think people avoid Mary because they misunderstand her role, or because getting closer to her might actually change their relationship with Jesus?
Someone you love may need to hear that Jesus gave us His mother for a reason.
