Saint Boniface

“Let us trust in Him who has placed this burden upon us… For He is all-powerful.” — St. Boniface

Today we celebrate St. Boniface, the great missionary known as the “Apostle of Germany.” Born in England in the 8th century, he left behind comfort and security to bring the Gospel to pagan tribes throughout Europe. His courage, leadership, and unwavering trust in Christ helped build the Church across Germany, and he ultimately gave his life as a martyr for the faith in A.D. 754.

St. Boniface reminds us that God never asks us to carry our crosses alone. Whatever burden you are facing today—family struggles, work stress, illness, anxiety, or uncertainty—Christ walks with you and gives you the grace to persevere.

“Come to me, all who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

St. Boniface, pray for us.
