PRAY THE "ANIMA CHRISTI" THIS CORPUS CHRISTI SUNDAY

As we celebrate Corpus Christi Sunday, let us turn our hearts to Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist. For centuries, Catholics have prayed the Anima Christi ("Soul of Christ"), a beautiful prayer that expresses our desire to be united with Our Lord, sanctified by His grace, and strengthened by His love.

Whether before Holy Mass, after receiving Holy Communion, or during Eucharistic Adoration, this prayer helps us reflect on the profound mystery of Christ's Body and Blood given for our salvation. As we honor the Eucharistic Lord this Corpus Christi, let us pray with faith, gratitude, and reverence, drawing ever closer to the One who remains with us in the Blessed Sacrament.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within Your wounds, hide me.
Let me never be separated from You.
From the malignant enemy, defend me.
In the hour of my death, call me,
And bid me come to You,
That with Your saints I may praise You,
Forever and ever. Amen.

May this beloved prayer deepen our love for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and prepare our hearts to celebrate the great feast of Corpus Christi.

Mother Mary is the most humble Saint in Heaven and she is also the Mother of God for us all
