Saint Faustina Kowalska is the patron saint of Divine Mercy. Known as the Apostle of Divine Mercy and the Secretary of Divine Mercy

The devotion to Jesus as the Divine Mercy is rooted in the spiritual writings of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, a humble Polish nun who, in obedience to her spiritual director, faithfully recorded in her diary the revelations she received about God’s boundless mercy.

In her diary, our Lord speaks tenderly to a wounded world:
“In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart” (Diary, 1588).

Jesus entrusted her with the mission of proclaiming His mercy to all humanity and referred to Divine Mercy Sunday as mankind’s “last hope of salvation” (995).

The message of Divine Mercy is beautifully simple: God loves each one of us, and His mercy is greater than all our sins. He invites us to turn to Him with trust, receive His mercy, and allow it to flow through us to others, so that all may come to share in His joy.

We can live this message each day by remembering the simple call: ABC

God desires that we approach Him constantly in prayer, repent of our sins, and ask Him to pour out His mercy upon us and upon the whole world.

God calls us to let His mercy flow through us to others, extending love, compassion, and forgiveness just as He does to us.

All the graces of Divine Mercy are received through trust. The more we open our hearts to Jesus with complete trust, the more abundantly we receive His mercy.

Share this message with your dear ones, and help spread the grace of God’s Divine Mercy entrusted to us through Saint Faustina.
